Initially I had really excellent support from Jade on the front desk, and I was feeling good about signing up as a patient, despite being forced to go private because of the lack of NHS options.The dentist who treated me identified two cavities which hadn't been giving me any trouble. Treatment for the first one has left me with new pain and continual discomfort. One other red flag was that they didn't have any protective goggles when I was receiving treatment and they asked me to wear my own sunglasses.I had to miss the appointment for the second filling due to a vomiting bug, but was still charged the full price. I can understand if this is the policy, but I can find no evidence of it in any of the paperwork they emailed me, or on the online portal. Now I cant stand visiting dentists as I have had a few...” bad experiences with other practices, however somehow I managed to pluck up the courage to visit Kingsend as I had an emergency.I was treated by Naveen who was very professional and extremely caring, he was very attentive and explained all of my treatment plans very clearly and referred me to Anny (hygienist) for a deep clean.Anny was amazing, she could sense I was anxious and spent quite some time putting me at ease and made me feel comfortable as can be. I expected a painful session, however to my surprise it was pleasant and although not enjoyable but very easily bearable. she was very sensitive to my needs and gave me as many breaks as I needed, not one bit rushy and kept checking in on me during the deep clean. she also gave me great advice on aftercare and management at home.I have to say I very rarely provide reviews but on this occasion the service I received was 10/10 and I cannot thank Kingend enough and I have no hesitation in recommending them.”

“It would have been a 5 star it I had to really argue my point on my last visit. Let...” me explain, I’ve had a few treatments at Kinsgend over the years and all has been well. It’s not the cheapest dental center but I’ve always believed that you do get what you pay for.I had to have an extraction on a molar tooth after biting on a popcorn kernel and a massive chunk of the tooth broke away. Unfortunately there was no way of saving it. I had the the tooth extracted and the process went seemingly well until the following day. I’m the extraction process the surgeon had damaged the r tooth next to it with the drilling/cutting machine which left the tooth open and very painful.When I went back to the dentist to let them know they were very reluctant to take any responsibility and said that I was in pain because the tooth was seriously decayed. My argument was that whether the tooth was decayed or not I had suffered zero pain before the surgery (even with the chunk taken out of my originally extracted tooth) and I could feel with my tongue that a chunk of tooth had been ground away.After a lengthy heated debate with one of the directors another lady director came in to see what was going on and heard me out. The lady kindly assessed the situation and they decide to give me a filling (free of charge) which has helped tremendously. I’m very thankful to that lady as she was very understanding but more importantly was prepared to do the right thing and rectify it.These guys really know what they are doing and I wanted to give them 5 stars but the level of stress I had to go through to get the end result made it just a little bit sour. So my only ask for Kingsend is that the after care needs to be as good as the primary care. Take a leaf out of the young lady’s book and do the right thing. That is marketing in itself.I would recommend Kingsend Dental and I will be going back.”

“I had intended to put this experience behind me, but after receiving an automated email from Quality Dental Shoreham inviting...” feedback on my recent treatment, I felt it was only fair to share my experience as requested.I have always found Quality Dental Shoreham to be a friendly and professional practice, which is why this review is disappointing to write.I recently attended to have a rear crown refitted after a 3 month waiting list. Before leaving, I explained that the crown did not feel correctly aligned with my other teeth and that my bite felt wrong. However, despite my feedback, I was advised that the crown was seated correctly and should be given time to settle. Unfortunately, it became clear afterwards that the fit was not correct, as I was unable to bite down comfortably.More concerning was that one edge of the crown was sharp and repeatedly rubbed against my tongue, causing it to become sore, swollen and painful to swallow.When I contacted the practice the following day to explain the problem, I was initially offered an appointment five days later, which I felt was unacceptable given the discomfort and difficulty eating. Thankfully, after further discussions with reception, a same-day cancellation became available and the issue was quickly rectified.My advice to other patients would be not to leave an appointment if something doesn’t feel right. Raise your concerns clearly and ensure they are addressed before you leave.I remain grateful to the reception team for finding a same-day appointment and resolving the problem, but unfortunately this particular experience fell below the standard I have come to expect from the practice.For that reason I’ve given 3 stars rather than fewer. I’ve received good treatment from the practice over the years and this experience does not reflect my previous visits.”

I agreed to book hygienist and left. At reception, I was asked to book for next consultation. When I mentioned that it had only been 3 months and this was a follow up, booking was for January 25. Tried to book hygienist but left as no acceptable times available. Five minutes after leaving, receptionist informed me I had to pay for the session (the 5 minutes I understood was a follow up to the check up). It felt as if they were trying to maximise their income.”

I asked if something was wrong with their phones but was told that they were just busy with the phones and patients in front of them, fair enough, but to have so much difficulty getting through doesn’t really work, so unfortunately I won’t be coming to the surgery again due to the fact that it takes so long to actually speak to anyone.”
