I graduated in 2005 with a honours degree from St Bartholomew's and The Royal London along with many awards including best clinical student. Since then I have completed a year long aesthetic and restorative dentistry training programme as well as achieving membership to the prestigious Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh.
My skills lie in implant and aesthetic dentistry. I am a gold level invisalign provider and also perform facial rejuvenation procedures. I enjoy treating anxious and nervous patients using my own techniques with the occasional aid of sedation.

I am a Partner at Kingsend Dental, having taken over the practice in January 2008 my vision was to focus on providing unparalleled patient care and offer the highest quality dentistry available today. Since graduating in 2005 from St Bartholomew's and The Royal London, I have undertaken post-graduate training in aesthetic dentistry completing a year-long course.
I have completed a course in implant dentistry and I am fully qualified to place and restore dental implants.
I am fully certified in Invisalign and Inman tooth straightening having completed many cases to a natural and aesthetic finish. I also practice facial aesthetics (wrinkle correction injections and dermal fillers)

Dr. Dharminder Dhanda

Dr Dhanda qualified from the University of Manchester. Started working at a NHS practice before working at a mixed practice which predominately became private. Whilst working in a general practice, I took advanced training in restorative dentistry at Eastman institute completing the certificate in restorative dentistry.
Futher to this, he also completed a year long programme to gain a certificate in cosmetic dentistry. Gained experience in restoring implants in practice and also on invisalign provider.
Away from work enjoy health and fitness and eating out. Keen footballer, enjoy cricket, go karting and travelling.

I graduated in 1993 from the Turner Dental School University of Manchester. I have been a associate dentist at Kingsend Dental since 2001 with 23 years of experience in clinical dentistry in a general dental practice.
I have a keen interest in cosmetic dentistry, Implant restorative cases, facial aesthetics and skin rejuvenation. I believe in providing dentistry to the highest clinical standards a in a kind and professional manner and enjoy treating nervous patients, putting them at ease and helping them gain confidence.

Sheela qualified from Guys and St Thomas' Dental Hospital in 2002 and completed her Vocational Training in London. Sheela joined Kingsend Dental in 2016 and is a much loved member of our team. She prides herself on her conservative approach to dentistry and enjoys treating all cases from the simple to complex.
She has enjoyed many years of treating families and has recently developed an interest in cosmetic dentistry. She is a Certified practitioner for the Inman Aligner system and Invisalign (orthodontics) and plans to further her knowledge in new cosmetic techniques.
Outside dentistry Sheela enjoys cooking Japaneese food and likes to travel especially to India.

Dr Miraj Shah graduated from Cardiff University with first class honours. He then gained his Membership of the Joint Dental Faculties from the Royal College of Surgeons. He has since been working in London in the Private and NHS sector. He currently works in 2 major District General Hospitals as a Specialty Doctor in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery where his role lies in clinical supervision of Junior Doctors, complex treatment planning and oral surgery. His interests lie in oral surgery, restorative dentistry and dental implants. He strongly believes in overall patient care.
He has completed his post graduate certification in Medical Education which has greatly aided him in his role as a clinical supervisor for dental post graduate training. He is also currently at the end of training for the diploma in Implant Dentistry at the world renowned Eastman Dental Institute in London.
In his spare time, Miraj enjoys travelling and has been to many wonderful exotic places. He plays squash regularly and is heavily involved in community events in relation to education, career planning and clinically oral cancer detection and prevention.
Dr. Nalin Dhamecha

Dr Dhamecha qualified from King’s College, London in 1996. He has been a member of the team at Kingsend Dental Health Centre since 2009.
He has 20 year’s clinical experience in dentistry having worked as an associate dental surgeon in general dental practice and also the last 12 years in a hospital unit in restorative dentistry.
Dr Dhamecha has a special interest in endodontics - that is root canal treatments. He has completed various postgraduate courses and continues to attend regular postgraduate training courses. He has completed the MFDGP (UK) examination from the Royal College of Surgeons, England in 2003, and in 2005 completed the Certificate in Endodontics from the Eastman Dental Institute.
Presently Dr Dhamecha is part-time Speciality Dentist in Endodontics in the Restorative Dentistry department at St George’s Hospital, Tooting. He also works as a dentist with a special interest in endodontics (DwSI) at two other referral practices. He was a practice owner for 7 years, but currently his practice is limited to Endodontics.
Outside of dentistry Dr Dhamecha enjoys travel, reading and is a keen skier. He plays an active role in the BAPS Swaminarayan Mandir, Neasden, with various fund raising and charitable activities.
Dr. Omar Patel

Omar qualified in 2003 from the University of Glasgow winning the prize for conservative dentistry as an undergraduate. In 2005, he became a practice principal and subsequently a vocational trainer with the responsibility of training newly qualified dentists. He was awarded the Diploma of Membership of the Faculty of General Dental Practitioners of the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2007 and the Diploma of Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow in 2008.
Whilst working in general practice, he undertook advanced training in restorative dentistry at the Eastman Dental Institute, completing the Certificate in Restorative Dental Practice in 2008. He is currently a Specialist Registrar in Periodontics at Guy's Hospital, London, undertaking all aspects of periodontal therapy including surgical, non-surgical, muco-gingival and implant therapy. As well as providing periodontal care at Kingsend Dental, he is an active member of the British Society of Periodontology and has a special interest in the association between periodontal disease and diabetes. In 2015, he received the Ron F. Wilson postgraduate research award from King’s College London for clinical research and has presented his research internationally.
He was recently awarded the position of examiner for the Licence in Dental Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons, England, the oldest continuously existing dental qualification in the United Kingdom.
Omar is a keen golfer and tennis player, and enjoys hill walking and long distance running on the weekends. He also has a degree in Computing and has a passion for all things technological.
Dr. Guy McLellan

Dr Guy McLellan is our dental implant surgeon and has been a member of our Kingsend Dental team for over 9 years. He is doubly qualified in dentistry and medicine and a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England.
He has over 10 years hospital experience including training in ENT and plastic surgery and currently holds a teaching position at Charing Cross Hospital where he runs the dental implant clinic. His experience in implants dates back to 1994 and includes extra-oral implants to retain facial cosmesis/reconstruction following facial cancer surgery as well as intra-oral cancer rehabilitation and facial deformities such as cleft lip and palate.

Fatima qualified as a dental hygiene therapist from Guys, King's and St.Thomas' Dental Hospital in 2008, and was selected to be a part of the first Vocational Training scheme for Dental Therapists, where she was based in Northampton, Kettering and Oxford for a period of one year. Fatima joined our practice in 2011 and currently practices on Mondays and Fridays.

Mrs Sharon Lightstone is a hygienist with over 26 years experience, having successfully looked after the oral health of patients at Kingsend Dental for the past 3 years. She qualified as a Registered Dental Hygienist at King's College Hospital in 1981, where she was awarded the Best Student of the Year prize. She specialises in Preventive Dentistry and Dietary Advice and has until recently conducted a special weekly Oral Hygiene Clinic at Chase Farm Hospital for cancer patients. She regularly attends postgraduate technique courses in the latest methods, equipment and medicament's at London Dental Hospitals. She is married with three children.

I qualified as a dental hygienist at Kings’ College Hospital Dental School in the 1981 and was awarded the silver molar awarded. I worked part time in the Whittington Hospital, treating patients for various different reasons that were unable to go to a local dental practice, these also included ward patients, during which I also worked part time in several dental practices.
After having my two boys I returned to work in a few different practices that filled up my week.
I still enjoy my work after all these years; I have now been at Kingsend Dental since 2000, I have a list of regular patients who see me on a regular basis enabling them to be much more relaxed and happy to have continued hygiene sessions.

Cathy uses new technology to clean your teeth. There is an option of using an ultrasonic scaler, polishing with sodium bicarbonate or scaling your teeth under local anesthetic. Her true passion is treating gum disease. She will help you create a home care routine which would work best for you in maintaining good oral health.

Aaishah qualified as a dental hygienist from Cardiff university in 2015. Aaishah joined our team in October 2015. She is very passionate about her profession. An expert in her field, Aaishah aims to improve her patients oral health by explaining the aetiology of gum disease, implementing the latest dental techniques and oral hygiene techniques. Working closely with dentists at the practice, Aaishah always ensures her patients leave with healthy gums and a smile they can be proud of.
During Aaishahs time at Cardiff university she was given the opportunity to work with anxious, dental phobic patients in a sedation clinic. This was a very challenging and a great experience to partake in. Aaishah enjoys swimming and participating in many different charity events , raising money for various causes in her spare time.

Fariba worked as a dental hygienist in Denmark from 1999 to 2005. Worked in private and NHS clinics .She worked with patients , who suffered from dental phobia and especially needed patients.
In 2005 she challenged herself and moved to UK ,London. Since then she worked in fully private and private/NHS clinics.
Fariba has an holistic approach to dentistry.Her patients ,who regularly visit her for dental hygienist treatment, enjoy a wide range of benefits which include:

I have worked at Kingsend dental for the past 20 years. I worked as a dental nurse for 9 years before moving on to reception. My hobbies include swimming, arts and collecting items from the 1950s era. I spend any spare time with my horse and dogs. Our aim at Kingsend Dental is to make your visit as comfortable as possible. We are a dedicated team and do our utmost to be as helpful and informative as possible, taking a great professional approach to our work
I joined the Kingsend dental practice as a Patient Care Co-ordinator it is a very caring and relaxing enviroment. I have a wealth of experience working in the field of health and dentistry. I have a positive, friendly caring and polite approach, always willing to go that extra mile for our patients.
Iam very sympathetic to any concerns, fears anxieties: I ensure that the patients receive the care they need, at Kingsend dental.
